Senior consultancy roles in Aviation – Safety, Economics and Airports – up to circa £75k plus benefits
We are looking for senior recruits (5 years' experience minimum) to help us meet our growth plans. Our organisation can be very fast-paced and you will succeed here if you are equally ambitious. If you are used to large, process-driven organisations then we're probably not for you (unless of course you are ready to escape from one!) However, if being creative, flexible, dynamic and proactive is more your style, then we want to hear from you!
As a senior member of the company we'll need you to be committed to expanding the company's work through delivery of high quality consultancy coupled with a flair for identifying new business opportunities. Experience in the planning, bidding and winning of consultancy business is advantageous for all of these roles. Personal influence, credibility and gravitas in these client facing roles are pre requisites as you will be an ambassador for the company and all that we represent. Exemplary written and verbal communication skills allied with exceptional analytical and problem solving skills go without saying – we crunch a lot of data, we craft many reports for widespread, often public, consumption, and we deliver presentations to the most senior of audiences, so it needs to be right.
We are not necessarily looking for these recruits to be based at our Head Office in Farnborough – the right candidate is more important than their location and a base in mainland Europe could be an advantage.
With a strong track record in safety assessments applicants must have a proven track record in either ATM or ATC environments whether in a consultancy role, military, operational airport or ATC role. Candidates must be knowledgeable in safety management, emerging technologies and human factors methodologies. The key requirement will be that candidates can demonstrate the flexibility to transfer sound technical knowledge into a consultancy role where influence, stakeholder engagement and project management skills become more important as measures of success.
A proven track record of success in either airport consultancy or airport operations to a managerial level is essential. Candidates should be knowledgeable in airside/airfield operations and have a recognition of the wider issues that drive airport operations. Much of our work involves manipulating and understanding large data sets, so those with a quantitative background and/or experience in data analytics in an airport context will be viewed positively.
Either with a formal qualification in economics or an equivalent track record in economic analyses in the aviation or wider regulatory sector. Candidates may currently be in consultancy or planning, modelling or analytical roles.
Aviation Policy Consultant
We are looking to recruit an expert with previous experience in working on the development and implementation of aviation policy and legislation in the European environment (EC or national). Suitable candidates may have experience of working on projects in the policy domain with institutions, service providers or trade associations.
We expect a competitive response, and so candidates should demonstrate their interest by sending a cover letter and their CV to [email protected] with the title of the role they are applying for in the email header.
Closing date 31st March 2017.
