Nick is a long-standing consultant to airports, regulators, Air Traffic Control (ATC) providers, industry, government and non-governmental organisations. He has an engineering background and spent time during his early career seconded to Eurocontrol in Brussels, NATS in the UK and Luftfartsverket (LFV) in Sweden. He has a broad background in the role of new technologies and procedures in ATM operations, including business case development, and also in aviation policy matters.
Today Nick primarily provides operations, policy and investment advice in air traffic management and airports. He has been closely involved in the airspace change process in the UK, both helping to define it and airports to apply it. A founder and former CEO of Helios, Nick currently leads the company's airport consultancy work and is actively supporting airports on environmental topics, such as noise reduction, and operational improvements.
